Hen house is yet another great routine for interaction with the children.
You open the door to the hen house and there is Hattie Hen sitting on her large egg ......but she needs a rest and she asks us to look after her egg because she knows that there is a snake about who just loves eating eggs . So you take out Hattie to give her a rest and you close the door . SUDDENLY a snake pops up over the top of the hen house you do not see it but the children do and scream !!!.
The snake goes down so you open the door to see if the egg is still there ......YES IT IS !! The snake comes and goes several times and each time you check the egg........BUT the final time the egg has GONE !! The snake must have got it so you look behind the house and surprise the snake is still there so you take him out but HORROR there is a huge bulge in the snake He has eaten the egg .
What to do now once again it is MAGIC to the rescue.....after much play with wands hats or whatever and opening the door to see if the egg has returned you finally open the door and the nest is now full of about 10 large eggs which are all separate. WOW another great routine.
The house measures almost 14 nches high by 11 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep.
